I am guessing to maintain their advertised special, the $5 would apply only to the pepperoni and cheese options. The excuse was that the minimum wage went up which means all those on fixed income loses as well as all those out of work, not to mention jobs will get cut from the wage increase and moreover, those getting the wage increase may end up seeing their housing costs go up as the wealthy landlords may want to recoup the inflation affecting them. It's a boondoggle yet again as our politicians are too ignorant to understand the underlying problem is the cost of living, particularly housing, so we should focus on lowering housing expenses.
